| | Undaunted, Shaggy turned to film soundtracks to keep his identify within the public eye. He appeared on a minor hit duet with Janet Jackson, "Luv Me, Luv Me," from the soundtrack of How Stella Got Her Groove Back in 1998, and adopted it by contributing the solo minimize "Hope" to For Love of the Game in 1999.
